Accessing the Freight Tool

In order to access the Freight Tool you must reach out to your dedicated Account Manager to get onboarded. They will work with the Freight team and yourself to update your products' attributes to include NMFC codes. Once these are provided, you can specify if you have specific carriers you wish to use.

Once these two things have been completed, the Freight Tool can then be set up for your account.

To access freight, log into 360 and select Freight from the main menu:

Here, you can see all submitted requests for freight, along with the following details:

  • Freight ID
  • Creation date
  • Shipment Type
  • Number of Pallets
  • Pickup and Delivery Address
  • Current Freight status
  • Transit Status

On the right, you can filter the requests by carrier or status. To see further details on your freight shipment, select the corresponding View button.

Note that the Status and Transit Status are two different things

  1. The Status refers to the freight booking’s status in the Shipfusion ecosystem
  2. The Transit Status refers to the freight booking’s status while in transit to its destination. (ex. the status can show Complete, but the transit status may show In Transit to Terminal.
