Shopify Shipping Solutions for Ecommerce Businesses
by Christie McLeod on Aug. 30, 2022
In today’s ecommerce environment, Shopify stands out for its usability and efficient service. With over a million businesses worldwide relying on its platform, it’s clear that Shopify is a preferred choice for many online enterprises. However, since the platform has such strict requirements for their own order fulfillment, many ecommerce businesses must figure out a Shopify order fulfillment service themselves.
Selecting a third-party logistics (3PL) provider is one such solution. It’s important to choose the best 3PL for Shopify that integrates smoothly with the ecommerce platform for efficient order fulfillment. This not only impacts the speed and accuracy of delivery but also has a direct effect on customer satisfaction.
As the highest rated Shopify logistics partner, Shipfusion offers an effective solution for ecommerce businesses using Shopify. This article will discuss how Shipfusion offers the best fulfillment services for Shopify through seamless integration that streamlines your order fulfillment. Let’s explore how Shipfusion’s Shopify shipping and fulfillment solution can improve your ecommerce fulfillment strategy.
How does Shipfusion integrate with Shopify?
Our tech team will build an integration between our software and your Shopify store. This will allow for seamless data integration so we can ship out your orders without any manual effort at your end. Our onboarding team ensures the accuracy of data for new customers with a complete analysis of SKUs and multiple tests run between Shipfusion and existing systems.
How does fulfilling orders with Shopify work?
Shipfusion imports orders every 5 minutes using our custom cloud-based customer portal that can be accessed from anywhere in the world through Shipfusion.com. The system offers customers many intuitive and easy-to-use tools.
Can Shipfusion pull products from our Shopify store?
Yes, Shipfusion does pull in the products from your Shopify store, including the pictures, the pricing, and the specific titles of the SKUs. We map product bundles on Shipfusion to single SKUs. Shipfusion’s Inventory Management software allows the change of SKUs at no extra cost.
Can you stop products from being imported into orders?
Yes, you can create product rules. You can set it up to exclude specific or multiple products from importing on orders. Shipfusion’s software provides the customers with complete control over their orders and inventory while being stored at any of our warehouses.
The features and tools will allow clients to apply specific rules to each individual SKU. If a client wants to prohibit certain products from shipping to chosen states or international countries outside of the US, these can be easily applied using the workflows in the portal.
How do I manage my inventory stock?
Shipfusion’s inventory management software allows the client to view, change and manage your inventory levels in your Shopify store. Also, the real-time inventory tracking sweep allows transparency of a client’s stock, helping to better organize your inventory. The technology works on sweeping inventory if you are using our multiple fulfillment centers programs as well. Shipfusion’s inventory management technology makes it easy to view, manage and notify changes in your inventory levels in your ecommerce store.
Does Shipfusion manage inventory levels?
Shipfusion updates all inventory levels back to the clients Shopify store and keeps track of all the inventory items sold directly off Shopify. Clients can request annual inventory audits and product counts through the portal. If you require a third-party auditor to attend an annual physical inventory count, Shipfusion will also accommodate this as well.
Does Shipfusion handle returns and supply shipping labels?
As soon as an order is made on your Shopify store, the shipping labels will be made. Shopify will start tracking this label for delivery status and return purposes. All of your customer returns will be handled through Shipfusion’s portal. Returns can be placed by simply selecting the order that needs to be returned and creating an RMA.
If you would like to cover the cost of the shipping, our system will automatically generate a shipping label for you to use. You can either have Shipfusion send the shipping label directly to the customer using a specified preloaded email address, or you can download the label and send it to the customer directly as a PDF. If you are not covering the cost of shipping, you can create the RMA and pass this information to your customer to include on the shipping label.
How does Multiple Warehouse Shipping with Shopify work?
Shipfusion offers its customers a North American-based Omni Channel fulfillment solution through Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Toronto warehouses. Using different warehouses allows customers to reach end-users faster at a more cost-effective shipping rate while significantly lowering costs and increasing customer satisfaction.
Does Shipfusion update the tracking system?
We pull orders every 5 – 7 minutes from our clients’ Shopify stores, and the orders automatically flow into our pick queue. Our goal is to get out as many shipments each day as possible, so it is common to see same-day fulfillment up until 2 PM CST, excluding holidays.
Choosing the right partner can make or break the logistics, customer service, and repeated purchases of your company. Using an ecommerce fulfillment center like Shipfusion frees you from navigating the fulfillment landscape with zero stress.
