Meet Abigail: Shipfusion’s New Director of Human Resources

What has your career this far looked like in the tech industry?

My HR career started in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, where I oversaw California, Illinois, Kansas, Indiana, and Colorado employees. During my time in the pharmaceutical industry, I learned that staying in the healthcare and tech industry is necessary. Thus far, during my time here at Shipfusion, I have collaborated with different departments to understand how the HR department can contribute to the success of Shipfusion. Although I am just getting started in the industry, I hope to learn, implement, and automate HR tasks to allow our teams to focus on our clients and productivity.

What plans do you see for Shipfusion? 

I see lots of growth and success. Starting with the opening of our Las Vegas facility, which is set to open early 2022. My goal is to recruit the best of the best HR experts to ensure that we are able to create a positive and exciting work experience for our employees. 

What are you most excited about in your new role?

In my new role, I am most excited about taking a seat at the table and having the opportunity to make a difference. With growth and success come lots of highs and lows; in my role, I can work alongside the operations team to ensure that our team members are appreciated, rewarded, productive, and genuinely enjoy coming to work.
