Shipfusion was founded by a team of long-time ecommerce and logistics professionals who believe retailers should be able to trust their fulfillment partners as much as their in-house team.
We made the choice early on not to contract with third-party warehouses, instead focusing on a handful of strategic locations that are fully operated by Shipfusion employees. This decision, combined with our collective industry knowledge, lets us provide customers with unmatched guidance and confidence as they set up a more efficient, scalable fulfillment infrastructure.
Our Story
Unlike other fulfillment companies, Shipfusion actually started as a textbook rental ecommerce business. Struggling to find quality fulfillment options for our business, we ended up building our own solution in-house, for our own needs. Over time, based on our success establishing an efficient fulfillment operation, we started to get requests from other companies to help them with their fulfillment. We saw the wider need for someone to provide quality, efficient, and reliable fulfillment but with an ecommerce team's point-of-view.
Shipfusion officially opened its doors in 2014 as one of the first ecommerce-based fulfillment companies in North America. We started our careers as ecommerce business owners and experienced all the challenges and complexities of fulfillment firsthand.
As a result, Shipfusion does things differently.

Instead, we built warehouses in strategic locations that are fully operated by Shipfusion employees, and have on-site, dedicated Account Managers at each location. These decisions, coupled with our collective industry knowledge, allowed us to provide our clients with unmatched guidance and confidence as they grow their businesses.

Over these past 9 years, we have helped ecommerce businesses meet the challenges of storing, shipping, and fulfilling their customers’ orders with several fulfillment centers across North America while helping them save on shipping costs.

Shipfusion customers also enjoy tailored solutions based on their particular business model—we support traditional retail, crowdfunding campaigns, subscription services, and offer sample services in order to meet the unique needs of each retailer.
Strategically Located Warehouses
Our flagship, 380,000ft2 temperature-controlled facility is based in Chicago, IL. We chose this location because it allows us to directly inject packages into our carrier networks, typically cutting down transit times by a full day.
We also operate warehouses in Los Angeles and Toronto, allowing customers to reach a significant portion of the most densely populated areas in the US while taking advantage of cost-effective shipping methods and reducing fulfillment times. Three new Shipfusion warehouses are slated to open in Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Dallas.
